The Vanaz V4325 / V4325 II is a slam shut-off valve installed immediately after the filter and prior to the pressure regulator in a gas train. It normally remains open; if the regulator’s outlet pressure exceeds the permissible limit, the valve senses this through its impulse line and immediately shuts off flow to the downstream line, acting as a critical over-pressure safety device. Once the regulator has been repaired, the valve must be reset (opened) manually — it will then remain open as long as the outlet pressure stays within limits. Rated for an inlet pressure of 0.5–19 kg/cm² and outlet pressure of 0.05–5 kg/cm², with a gas flow rate of up to 1500 Nm³/hr, for use with LPG, natural gas and CO2. Available in two flange ratings on the same design — the V4325 with a 1" NB flanged end as per ANSI 150#, and the V4325 II with a 1" NB flanged end as per ANSI 300# — both sharing the same pressure, flow and construction specification.
