The Vanaz Two-Stage Pressure Reducing System is a pre-engineered gas train / pressure regulating station (PRS) that reduces high inlet pressure down to a safe, stable downstream pressure in two regulation stages, for LPG, PNG (natural gas), nitrogen (N2) and CO2 service. The skid is built up from inlet and outlet ball valves for isolation, a filtration unit to protect downstream components, a slam shut-off valve that closes automatically if downstream pressure exceeds its set limit, one or more spring-loaded or pilot-operated pressure regulators for the two reduction stages, creep and safety relief valves for overpressure protection, and pressure gauges with isolation cocks for upstream/downstream monitoring — with an optional heater (electrical, water-bath or catalytic) available where Joule-Thomson cooling needs to be offset. Rated for inlet pressures up to 49 kg/cm2, an outlet range of 0.03 to 26 kg/cm2, flows up to 6,000 SCMH, and connection sizes from 1 to 4 inch NB flanged (ANSI 150/300), it is built for industrial gas distribution and pressure-reduction duty. Manufactured by Vanaz Engineers Ltd, Pune.
