The Honeywell R4343 E1048 is a flame detector relay that acts as a switch, signalling the presence or absence of a flame or ultraviolet (UV) light when paired with the correct sensor, for intermittent-operation industrial oil or gas burner systems. It runs on a 115-230VAC, 50/60Hz universal supply and switches a 2A, 230VAC (cos phi 0.65) potential-free output contact, with a flame-failure response time of 2 seconds maximum. A front-facing microammeter (uA) jack socket lets technicians monitor flame signal strength directly, and the plug-in unit mounts onto a subbase for surface mounting. Swiss made and CE marked (CE-0085AR0415), it was discontinued by Honeywell in 2022 and is stocked by RKIC as a spare for legacy burner control panels.
