The Honeywell Maxon 23739 is a self-grounding, direct-spark ignition electrode (spark-plug style) used to light the burner in direct-spark ignition configurations. It has a 14mm x 1.25mm spark-plug-style mounting thread and a 1-1/2 inch (1.5") extended gap, and is commonly used on Maxon APX burners (0.5 through 5.0 APX sizes) as well as NP-LE / NP AIRFLO and RG AIRFLO burner series.
