A Honeywell Kromschröder gas train is a pre-assembled engineering system of safety devices and flow controls that delivers fuel gas to industrial burners safely and steadily, built up in sequence from a manual isolating ball valve (AKT) for maintenance isolation, a gas filter (GFK) to protect downstream controls from dirt, pressure gauges (KFM/RFM) with push-button test valves for line-pressure monitoring, a slam shut-off valve (JSAV) paired with a relief valve (VSBV) to block overpressure surges while venting minor spikes, a pressure regulator (VGBF/GDJ) to smooth out fluctuations and hold a steady working pressure, high/low pressure switches (DG) that trigger safety interlocks on abnormal pressure, automatic solenoid valves (VAS/VG) for process-controlled shutoff, a valve proving system (TC 410) that runs an automated tightness test on the dual safety valves before burner start-up, and burner management systems (IFS/IFD/BCU) that control ignition and continuously monitor the flame signal. Engineered and assembled to each project's gas medium, inlet pressure and flow requirement, and built to international thermoprocessing standards such as EN 746-2. Manufactured by Honeywell Kromschröder (Elster GmbH, Germany).
