The Honeywell C7044A1006 is a self-checking Minipeeper® ultraviolet (UV) flame sensor with a stainless-steel body, used in burner management and flame safeguard systems to detect the UV radiation emitted by gas or oil flames. Its housing has two openings permitting either side or end viewing (side viewing is 1/8 as sensitive as end viewing), making it particularly suitable for blast-tube mounting. It mounts via a bracket secured by two 8-32 RHIS (European M-4) screws, has a clamp-type connector for 1/2" flexible metallic conduit, and connects via a 2.44 m (8 ft) pair of flying leads to the flame safeguard control or amplifier. UL Listed, CSA Certified and FM Approved. Manufactured by Honeywell, it is a common replacement sensor for Honeywell burner flame monitoring and safety-shutdown systems.
