The Brahma FC7 is a photoresistive cell (photocell) used for flame detection on oil burners, plugging directly into the standard RAR9-type socket on the burner control box in place of the ionization probe circuit. Its cadmium-sulphide sensing element responds to the visible light emitted by an oil flame, signalling the burner control to confirm flame presence and continue the firing sequence, or to lock out if no flame is detected. Manufactured by Brahma, Italy, it is a common replacement part for oil-fired burner and boiler flame safeguard circuits. For detailed electrical ratings, please contact us for the latest datasheet.
